At Thermo Fisher Scientific, our goal is to bring innovative new products and services that enable the development of more physiologically relevant disease models to help accelerate the drug discovery process. This seminar will highlight innovations in stem cell workflow, including suspension culture, PSC characterization, and the downstream differentiation needed to generate 3D stem cell-based disease models. In addition, specific examples will be provided of how stem cell researchers can leverage novel protocols and reagents to build relevant 3-dimensional neural, cardia, and hemopoietic-derived organoid models.
Learning Objectives
- Overview of the iPSC Workflow: gain a thorough understanding of the PSC workflow, including reprogramming, growth, expansion, characterization, engineering, and recovery of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
- Utilize Cutting-Edge Techniques and Tools in stem cell research: Familiarize yourself with advanced techniques and tools such as gene editing and disease modeling with pluripotent stem cells, PSC scale-up, suspension culture, and optimized protocols for improved in-vitro models.
- Optimize the use of PSCs in Stem Cell Research and Workflows: Gain practical guidance and tips on how to use iPSCs effectively to advance stem cell research. Focus on achieving high efficiency and rapid results and exploring a wide range of applications for both basic research and therapeutic approaches. .
Webinars will be available for unlimited on-demand viewing after live event.
